Marvin Minsky, one of the pioneers of artificial intelligence has died of cerebral hemorrhage at age 88.
Mathematician and computer scientist was one of the best experts in artificial intelligence. As a student, he built the first machine learning with neural network, using vacuum tubes.
In 1959, with John Mc Carthy he founded the Artificial Intelligence
Laboratory of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Professor Minsky ideas are spread and implemented in a variety of areas, computer language, mathematics and robotics.
His 1985 book, "society of mind" is considered as a working document in the exploration of changes in mechanisms that interacts intelligence and thought. His latest book "Emotional Machines" offers a new model of how the mind works.
