Sharp has just introduced RoboHon, a mobile robot, designed by Tomotaka Takahashi. He is a robot only 8 inches tall, and with a screen at the back of it, a camera and a projector on his face.
He walks, talks, jumps
and connects with LTE. RoboHon is able to identify people by their face or voice, and acts by telling them that they have a new message, or smiling to camera. Basically, the robot is the embodiment of the idea that the phone is your best friend.
Sharp announces that it will put on sale RoboHon in the first half of next year. No price yet known.
