Asus confirmed this week that it will hold an event at IFA 2015 next month. The news doesn’t come as a huge surprise, though the company also teased a few of the devices we might see unveiled at the Berlin trade show in a short video.
The first gadget we see is a new desktop computer. A few artsy cuts later we get to a close-up look of a volume
rocker similar to the one found on the back of the ZenPhone 2. We’re guessing that means Asus will announce a new smartphone at the event, though we’re not really sure what to expect beyond that.
Finally, there’s a new smartwatch. It looks pretty similar to the original ZenWatch, suggesting this is the long-promised ZenWatch 2. Asus actually already revealed the device, but its launch keeps getting pushed back. The second-generation wearable is expected to offer four days of battery life per charge along with an upgraded design.
TechnoBuffalo will be on the ground covering IFA next month live from Berlin, so we’ll be sure to check out whatever Asus has to show off. Until then stay tuned for any more news or rumors about the company’s upcoming smartphone and smartwatch plans.
